Features

  • User Management Introduced four roles to manage data backup smoothly in any organization. The four roles include:

    • Owner – is the one who signs up for Rebit Small Business and manages other roles in the organization. They also have the capabilities of administrator and finance administrator.

    • Administrator User – is the one who creates, removes, and manages end users. IT administrators can also block the login for users if required.

    • Finance Administrator – is the one who adds payment method and credit card details and also makes payment when required.

    • End User – is the one who can back up data in the organization.

  • Subscription Management –  With this feature, the finance administrator can assign licenses to users and also remove them. They can also upgrade storage plans when required. As the owner has full control over the Rebit app, they can also look into subscription management.

  • Backup and Restore – Rebit Small Business can back up all the selected files, folders, and drives on all your devices.

    • Access from File Explorer – Seamless integration into Windows File Explorer. Option to select files, folders, and drive directly from the File Explorer context menu.

    • Continuous Data Protection (CDP) – Automatically recognizes the changes made to a backed-up file and then backs up the changes as a new version. The older version of the file is also kept as a retrievable version.

    • Version Retention Policy – All the versions of the backed-up file are stored for 30 days along with their date and time. After 30 days, only the most recent version of the file is retained. It helps in conserving memory and preserves the latest version for future access.

    • Priority Restore – While restoring multiple files simultaneously, a specific file can be prioritized. If the user is trying to access the file that is not yet restored, it can be prioritized.

  • Security – Adopted military-grade AES 256-bit client-side encryption.

  • New (Sentinel) Portal – Manage your subscription and backups using Sentinel portal. Users can also sign up for Rebit Small Business through the Sentinel Portal.
