Download Files and Folders From Rebit Endpoint Backup

Summary

This guide shows how to download files that are backed up from your PC and other linked devices.

If you need to save a copy of a particular file/folder to a location of your choice, you can download it. However, Rebit Endpoint Backup does not back up changes made to downloaded files.

For smoother flow in a business, downloading files and folders is allowed from all the linked devices in Rebit Endpoint Backup.

Download Files/Folder From This PC (Logged in device)

Step 1. Click on Backups on the Rebit Endpoint Backup window.

Step 2. Select all the files/folders you wish to download to your current computer.

Step 3. Click the Download button located below the search bar.

Step 4. Now, open the directory where you want to save the files/folders in the Download To window

Step 5. Click on Save.

Step 6. Click on the OK button on the Download Started window.

Once the file is downloaded, you can use it.

The downloaded file will not be a part of the backup. You need to add the file manually to the Rebit Endpoint Backup app to start backing it up.

Download Files/Folders From a Linked Device

Step 1. Click on Backups on the Rebit Endpoint Backup app window.

Step 2. Select your linked device on the side navigation bar.

Step 3. Select all the files/folders you wish to download to your current computer.

Step 4. Click on the Download button located below the search bar.

Step 5. When the Download To window will pop up on your screen, navigate to the location where you want to save the files/folders.

Step 6. Click on the Save button.

Step 7. Lastly, click on the OK button on the Download Started window.
