Rebit has released two enhancements for the Rebit Partner Program. First, to reinforce the Partner relationship with the customer, emails are branded to include the Partner company name. Second, the status of customer backups is now displayed with color-coded flags allowing for an “at a glance” view of your customers. This post will cover these enhancements, both of which are live now.
Partner-Branded Emails
In an effort to emphasize the partner relationship, welcome emails now include the Partner Company Name.
When Partners add a new user via the Rebit Partner Portal, an email is generated to that user asking them to establish a password and download the Rebit application. This email now references the Partner Company Name in the text to make it clear to the end-customer who initiated the request and with whom the relationship is.
More branding enhancements are coming! We see this as the first step in ensuring your end customers are seeing the value of the relationship with you on an ongoing basis. We will continue to deploy more branding opportunities to help get your name in front of your customers.
At-a-Glance Backup Health Status
In our Partner Portal, our Partners can monitor the status of their customers to ensure backups are completing successfully. While Rebit is designed to be “set and forget” simple, we all know changes happen that can cause backups to stop.
Whether an external drive has been turned off, a network connection lost, or settings inadvertently changed–things happen.
To assist in quickly identifying when issues occur, Partners can now look at their Partner Portal, scroll through the list of users and see simple color-coded identifiers.
- Green: the backup is okay and healthy.
- Yellow: backup warning.
- Red: the backup is not completing.
By hovering over the color-coded icon, you can then find additional diagnostic information. This allows you to proactively reach out to your customers and return their backup to a healthy status.
