The Rebit software allows users to back files up to drives and recover them through the application. But there may be circumstances in which you want to manually view and modify the backup files Rebit has created.
By default, Windows hides these files. Here are the steps to view them:
- Navigate in Windows to the folder where the Rebit backups were stored (your backup target)
- Go to the View tab and then select Options > “Change folder and search options.”
- Then in the Folder Option go to the View tab and uncheck “Don’t show hidden files, folders or drives” and select “Show hidden files, folders and drives.”
- Uncheck “Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)”
- Click Apply.
Then you should see the hidden “Rebit” folder visible in your external hard disk and then you can proceed on deleting that folder.
